To communicate with Suppliers regarding production and shipment.
Organize container booking and transport
Preparation and co-ordination of documentation for export sea freight shipments
To ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution to our client by keeping a constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost
To constantly review working processes with the aim of making improvements and ensure all key work processes are documented correctly in the Client SOP
With guidance from the Logistics Manager, develop and maintain close working relationship with all key parties including Client, Suppliers, Service Providers and other departments
Support the client in problem solving by building an understanding of their business and the problems that impact on it, reacting in a manner which improves the outcome from the client’s perspective
Represent the Company to the client in a positive “can do” manner
Other tasks as required by the Logistics Manager
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have excellent communication skills
Fluency in English is essential
Excellent timekeeper able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative
