Job Description
  • To communicate with Suppliers regarding production and shipment.
  • Organize container booking and transport
  • Preparation and co-ordination of documentation for export sea freight shipments
  • To ensure each shipment generates the maximum contribution to our client by keeping a constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost
  • To constantly review working processes with the aim of making improvements and ensure all key work processes are documented correctly in the Client SOP
  • With guidance from the Logistics Manager, develop and maintain close working relationship with all key parties including Client, Suppliers, Service Providers and other departments
  • Support the client in problem solving by building an understanding of their business and the problems that impact on it, reacting in a manner which improves the outcome from the client’s perspective
  • Represent the Company to the client in a positive “can do” manner
  • Other tasks as required by the Logistics Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Excellent timekeeper able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative
  • This role should appeal to a candidate that wishes to develop their personal and professional skills within a busy logistics environment
  • The successful candidate will be encouraged to play an important role in the development of the company through training and education programmes
  • This is an entry level position, experience preferred but not required
