Job Description

1. To prepare month-end management accounts for the Managing Director, which will require:

  • Detailed bank reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Fixed asset schedules
  • Accruals
  • Prepayments
  • Bad debt provisions
  • Any other Nominal Ledger entries required

2. To prepare year-end accounts for submission to the Company’s accountants

3. To be familiar with the contents of statutory financial statements

4. To liaise with and provide supporting documentation to the Company’s accountants and the Company’s auditors

5. To assist the Accounts Office staff with any queries they may have

6. To attend periodic meetings with the Company’s bankers

7. To prepare and submit P11Ds

8. To complete periodic questionnaires from the Office of National Statistics
