Currently working with a world leader in the transport sector to recruit an exciting and autonomous Senior Management Accountant. This role will allow the succesful candidate to 'get stuck in' and have exposures to many different aspects of finance along with liaison with global brands.Duties to include:
Prepare the month-end performance pack with value-added insight and commentary and variance analysis for review and sign-off.
Deliver the annual bottom-up budget engaging with internal stakeholders as appropriate for sign-off.
Produce forecasts according to business cycle or on an ad-hoc basis.
Conduct analysis for use in and attend the monthly customer meetings.
Prepare for and attend the monthly finance meeting with the customer.
Liaise with customer to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Prepare quarterly VAT submission.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts with review and commentary
Submit weekly cash forecasts for inclusion in group consolidation
Ensure payroll is reviewed, approved and submitted accurately and on time.
Produce annual audit pack and liaise with auditor as required
Completion of pro-forma financial statements
Complete annual tax return for sign off
Collaborate with International finance team and other functions as appropriate.
Directly manage and mentor one Management Accounant and Payroll staff member.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACCA, CIMA OR ACA qualified or overseas equivalent Prior Management Accountant experience Strong communicators, able to hold conversations with internal and external stakeholders Candidate with an eye for detail Experience with aviation or related sector (ideal but not essential) Must be able to travel to Heathrow either by car or public transport
