Job Description
  • Understand the procedures: Purchase Orders processes, travel expense processes, key suppliers.
  • Ensure procedures are adhered to and improved where necessary
  • Ensuring departmental adherence to statutory requirements and other internal processes.
  • Identification of process improvements and assist with any project implementation.
  • Receiving invoices through email and post, understanding the nature of these expenses for eventual account coding. 
  • Daily Scanning, Coding and Posting of Invoices (inc intercompany).
  • Making large batch payments to Local and International vendors.
  • Ensuring that payment runs are completed within correct timescales.
  • Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting for day to day issues that may arise.
  • Liaise with accountants Operations departments
  • Participate in ad hoc finance projects and work as required
  • Help drive a culture of constant improvement and change

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • MS Office applications.
  • Languages- Italian
  • Excellent business acumen 
  • Communication/interaction skills essential
  • Positive/can do attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX an advantage.
  • Experience in a Finance Shared Services environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in an AP role
  • Languages Spanish / Portuguese an advantage
