Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting in the preparation and filing of the VAT Returns and other indirect tax obligations for the assigned EMEA entities.

  • Preparing and filing of VAT returns and other compliance Indirect Tax activities (Intrastate, EC-Sales)
  • Performing VAT accounts reconciliations in Black line system
  • Ensure VAT EMEA process is compliant
  • Support the Manager with Tax Authorities queries and audits
  • Provide support to address day-to-day queries from the business on VAT matters
  • Assisting the team with process and transformation initiatives
  • Ensure Month end closure is performed timely

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or law;
  • Ideally, have circa 2 years experience tax experience, preferably in an accountancy/tax practice or multinational environment
  • Excellent social, oral and written communication skills to partner with team members as well as external advisors
  • Proficient on Microsoft office especially Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills & initiative with the ability to adhere to strict timelines
  • ERP experience, ideally JDE / Oracle
