Preparation and interpretation of standard monthly management reports
Ongoing strategic business projects
Ad-hoc requests from the business & problem solving
Preparation and review of actual performance against budget and prior year
Preparation and update of budget and forecast information during the year
Development of additional reporting to facilitate the business
Month-end revenue reporting
Compliance with Group revenue recognition group policies and procedures
Providing an update in terms of any business related issues/developments/projects which may have a financial impact on the underlying legal entity financial reporting
Assist in preparation of Regulatory reporting
Collection of outstanding aged debtors
Review of aged revenue accruals/deferred revenue
Provision of potential risks
Development of an excellent in-depth working relationship with all key business stakeholders
Collaboration, sharing of knowledge, and facilitation training across other areas

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional commercial acumen – understanding of the key business revenue and Profit & Loss drivers
Strong financial knowledge – qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to develop strong working relationships with the business
Pro-active – ability to use initiative, self-starting, ability to priorities and deliver within deadlines
Passionate – to make a difference and to “add value” to the business
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Detail-oriented with ability to priorities and organize workflow
Highly computer literate with superior skills in Microsoft Excel, and a knowledge of accounting packages e.g. Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, etc.
