Job Description

The role is incredibly varied because the PaL team does lots of different types of work with young people and volunteers, and our Administrator plays a part in all aspects of the team’s work.

  • Leading on data reporting for the team – checking the information the team have input, creating and running data reports from our client record system to support contract reporting.
  • Overseeing financial processes for the team – e.g. managing bursary fund payments to young people, purchase orders, staff expenses etc.
  • Supporting the Volunteer Coordinator with the recruitment of volunteers including overseeing DBS checks, references, agreements and paperwork, equipment, and volunteer expenses.
  • Other broad ranging admin tasks to support the team and the wider organization such as minuting meetings, supporting events and supporting recruitment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Someone who loves administrative work with the ability to establish and implement robust processes and procedures to support our work.
  • Someone analytical and methodical who loves extracting, analyzing and manipulating data.
  • Someone with excellent attention to detail, particularly around financial and HR processes.
  • Medium to Advanced level skills with Excel or similar.
  • A self-starter who will spot things they can help with, or improve.
