Job Description

We believe in working closely with Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors and other trades and we understand that the success of every project is built on strong communication channels which exist between the design, construction and client teams, accordingly delivering first-class installations safely, on time and within budgets.

  • Preparation of monthly financial accounts
  • Maintaining live management accounts for individual projects via our Evolution Mx back office system- Training will be provided on the system
  • Prepare budgets for business units and individual projects with the relevant line management
  • Preparing Vat Returns and filing with Revenue
  • Maintaining, processing and returning Relevant Contract Taxes to Revenue
  • Monitoring costs with a focus on overheads
  • Complete bank reconciliations and prepare cash forecasts and projections were required
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Supporting senior management with any ad-hoc finance related queries

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work remotely:

  • Temporarily due to COVID-19

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and self-starter with a proven track record in meeting deadlines and managing projects
  • Prior experience working in a Finance Team and part of the month-end close process
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry would be an advantage: We will consider applicants who have had exposure to this industry during their accountancy training.
  • Strong PC skills with high competency in the Microsoft suite of applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail taking pride in the quality and presentation of work
  • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)
