Job Description

You will be a qualified accountant with experience working in a multinational organization, ideally in the area of financial accounting / financial reporting.   • Help define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close
  • Contribute to the quarterly SEC reporting cycle • Coordinate and review the work of our outsourced partners
  • Oversee US GAAP month-end close activities including accruals, account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Partner with Headquarter office to streamline worldwide processes and systems
  • Lead projects to identify, design, test and roll-out new financial reporting systems and tools
  • Ensure compliance with key controls and audit requirements, and provide accounting support to our statutory compliance teams
  • Create strong business partnerships and manage service levels with third party service providers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Proven industry PQE with large, fast-growing, multinational company
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOX. IFRS and local GAAP is desirable
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (experience with Oracle ERP and/or Hyperion Essbase is an advantage)
  • Team player and leader who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located across multiple geographic locations
  • Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the 'big picture' and the importance of risk mitigation and a strong controls environment
  • Organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement
  • 3+ Years PQE with large, fast-growing, multinational company
