Job Description
Key Duties:
- Manage resources to make journal entries and manage cash for syndicate and managing agency
- Develop strong and in-depth understanding of dataflows which support the population of the GL and overall financial reporting
- Maintain adequate procedures and controls
- Contribute to improving overall quality and speed of reporting with efficient use of systems and tools
- Responsible for preparation of all Finance designated regulatory returns to Lloyd’s (and other regulators as required) in accordance with internal and published timetables – including QMA, QMB, QSR, QAD, ASR, AAD and QF1/AF1, and others that arise
- Responsible for production and coordination of statutory financial returns for all companies under management
- Manage the external audit processes and be primary contact point for the auditors
- Prepare and submit quarterly US GAAP group consolidation
- Responsible for preparation of all relevant tax returns – Syndicate, UK and US/CAD tax and VAT returns
Qualifications required:
- Accounting qualification – fully qualified
