Job Description
You will have the opportunity to provide insightful data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and good judgment.
- Design and maintain consistent, effective, and controlled processes and frameworks to support the statutory financial statement preparation and financial statement audit process in EMEA.
- Centralize relationship management of our external auditors and key vendors including resource planning, budget control, metrics, performance assessment, and effective governance of financial statement audit escalations.
- Design and implement process controls in line with documented policy and controls framework.
- Ensure process resiliency and effective change management as our processes evolve as a result of system implementations or new challenges as Alphabet continues to grow and mature internationally.
- Partner effectively with other process leads, Country Controllership, finance, and non-finance stakeholders to ensure effective design of international reporting processes. Maintain alignment with external reporting stakeholders and processes internationally.
