Group Reporting Accountant
Job Description
- Review and preparation of the monthly group consolidated Balance Sheet and Cashflow for Board reporting;
- Preparation of year-end group consolidated Financial Statements;
- Acting as main point of contact for auditors and collating audit deliverables;
- Coordinating delivery of group and local financial statements;
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany P&L and Balance Sheet positions;
- Supporting senior management with ad-hoc queries as they arise and one-off projects;
- Handling any technical accounting matters as well as providing effective technical accounting guidance and support to wider finance teams;
- Monitor group cash balances and funding requirements to ensure liquidity across the Group;
- Acting as controller and project manager for the group’s future transition to IFRS.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post qualified experience in industry or in a large practice; Strong technical knowledge in UK GAAP & IFRS; Advanced Excel skills; Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority; Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met; Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; Proactive in identifying ways to improve reporting and driving change; Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail; Previous exposure to working in a global finance function highly desirable.
