Job Description

A perfect role for somebody looking to kick start a career in events, administration and marketing. This position is full time, permanent (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

  • Providing cover for reception, including meeting and greeting visitors and staff and answer the company general enquiries telephone line
  • Managing meeting room and lunch bookings and assisting with the set-up of meetings and training as required
  • Assisting with hotel and travel bookings, as requested and where required
  • Supporting the planning and organization of Company conferences, hospitality and events
  • Assisting with head office post and deliveries
  • Receiving and recording sales enquiries into the office via telephone and email and allocate enquiries to the sales team via the CRM system
  • Monitoring and updating external email marketing contact lists, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation
  • Assisting with the production of branded merchandise
  • Updating relevant information and access for new starters
  • Liaising with the sales team to collect ongoing and completed project assets and update project tracking and marketing files accordingly
  • Assisting with print and digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media and email marketing where required
  • Assisting with market analysis to identify growth sectors and target customers
  • Any other ad hoc office administration duties as required
  • Any other duty deemed by the directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives

  • Resides within a commutable distance from the office
  • Previous experience within a front of house, administration, marketing or events role
  • Experience of managing contact lists or databases
  • Experience of marketing, proofreading and/or copywriting
  • An interest in developing a career in events, administration and/or marketing
