Job Description

You will be directly responsible for ensuring that we can deliver the very best for our clients and continue to change and adapt to match client, regulatory and market needs.

You will entrust you with the responsibility of managing the deliverables from a diverse group of offshore accountants, and will allow the successful candidate to use their own industry experience and to hone their own leadership skills and act as a staging point for the next step into management.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the calculation of daily and periodic NAV prices, that are delivered to the market on time and with a high degree of accuracy. This will be achieved via oversight of the NAV production process enacted by our offshore colleagues through a variety of established controls.
  • Act as the main point of contact with established platinum and core clients who are growing their book of business.
  • Identifying potential and actual issues and risk & control gaps, ensuring they are escalated appropriately.
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and introduce methods to reduce expenses.
  • Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards
  • Provide assistance to the section manager of the wider team of Fund Accountants.
  • Identify and implement corrective action plans for errors and implement process improvements.
  • Create, develop, and maintain business relationships, identify and implement additional service, system, and process enhancements.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding our group, its clients and assets.
  • Adher to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 5+ years of Fund accounting experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial
  • Be technically minded
  • Have demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Is a demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a related area
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree
  • Availability to work flexibly within core business hours of 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.
