Take ownership of the Financial Reporting, Treasury and Accounts Payable team
Provide shared services to other entities within the UK
Take ownership of month end and quarter end timetable and process. Including the consolidation for EMEA entities
Preparation and review of local statutory financial statements
Be the main point of contact for external auditor and manage the year end audit and quarterly review
Review and improve current accounting policies and procedures
Be the go to person within the business for any financial reporting queries under IFRS

Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a global electronics business based in Slough. They are market leaders in the space they operate with a fantastic track record. The client is looking for an interim Financial Controller to join them and look after their UK & EMEA side of things.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the delivery of statutory accounting for the UK & EMEA entities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Fully qualified accountant Prior consolidation and financial reporting experience Prior experience using SAP Excellent knowledge of accounting standard and ability to implement new IFRS standards Previous experience managing a team both directly & remotely Ideally exposure to SOX or JSOX
