Job Description

Our client is a globally renowned and highly regarded consumer business. As a result of ongoing successes, a new opportunity for a high calibre financial reporting business partner exists at their modern London head offices.

Reporting directly to a key Head of Finance within the head office function you will be asked to directly manage a high performing team and take on a broad range of key responsibilities. These will include but are not restricted to the following:

Develop and manage internal and statutory reporting under UK & US GAAP

Manage the ongoing relationship with the auditors

Act as a key business partner in respect of driving key business strategy and long term sales growth/ profitability

Management of capital expenditure budgets in respect of new investments

Business case appraisals for ongoing investments and growth

Long term risk management

Implementation of new global finance initiatives and projects

Management and development of a strong team of qualified/ part qualified finance professionals

Support senior management directly with ongoing ad hoc finance projects and analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a fully qualified finance professional or in possession of an overseas equivalent (most likely ACA, CA or ACCA); a strong academic record as well as a number of years relevant experience gained within a global retail or consumer business. Alternative sector backgrounds will also be considered.
