Job Description

You will gain broad industry exposure as well as have the opportunity to grow and develop your career. The role will involve liaising with the team and dealing one-on-one with the corporate finance manager and partner. The team has an excellent deal flow, so you will be involved in those deals from the very start.

  • You will work with a wide variety of clients on an extensive range of projects from mergers and acquisitions to valuations to business planning and raising bank finance. The role will include the following:
  • Carrying out Pre and Post contract financial Due Diligence and Financial reviews.
  • Preparing and assisting with Valuation reports.
  • M&A growth strategy for our national and international clients.
  • Preparing business plans and integrated financial projections.
  • Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market.
  • Assisting with Financial Modelling.
  • Advising on Debt and Equity raising.
  • Assisting with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda, management of virtual data rooms etc.
  • Preparing decision making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting in the structuring of deals.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A qualified accountant in ACA / ACCA with interest prior experience in Corporate Finance with a curious mind, can do attitude and strong commercial acumen.
  • Previous experience working on projects and preparing reports for Transaction Services / Due Diligence an advantage.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and excited about working in a client-facing role within a dynamic team.
  • Excellent accounting and analytical skills with strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong leadership skills to encourage and mentor junior members in the team.
  • A stickler for detail with excellent attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills with all stakeholders.
  • Previous experience managing assignments from the planning, preparation and reviewing.
  • Excellent Word & Excel skills essential.
