Job Description
  • You will have the chance to work closely with the deal team on the investigation of the target to ensure significant value items, risks and other matters have been identified and considered.
  • Advising and assisting our clients in making an informed decision regarding the transaction. 
  • Working and communicating effectively with management and junior team members to ensure key deliverables are issued on time. 
  • Involvement in providing financial due services to clients through detailed financial analysis and report writing. In the context of client engagements, responsibilities include: 
  • Developing an understanding of the target business model and drivers.
  • Interpretation and analysis of financial and commercial information and delivering to our clients in a clear and concise way, both in writing and verbally.
  • Reviewing historical and forecast trading performance, cash flows, working capital and balance sheets.
  • Reporting of potential key issues for our client including identification of risk or equity price impacts.
  • Correlating other work stream’s findings with our financial due diligence findings. 

Involvement in providing reports to support stock exchange listings (e.g. Reporting Accounting), including: 

  • Preparation of reports for sponsors
  • Liaising with the Nominated Advisor and Solicitors
  • Ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework
  • Review of company's working capital requirements 
  • Support proposals for engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other areas of the Firm.
  • Engender a respectful and inclusive working environment.
  • Compliance with risk and quality management procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA or other accounting qualification and a strong academic record.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong commercial and market awareness.
  • Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong team player with good organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
