Job Description
  • Manage all payments from outlets and ensure they are recorded ERP
  • Ensure that cash lodgments are reconciled against receipts recorded in bank accounts.
  • Ensure all Current Account transactions are reconciled and posted 
  • Liaising with banks in regard to any bank queries that may arise surrounding lodgments. 
  • Driving improvement/simplification in both tools and processes used in relation to all banking activities and reconciliations therein.
  • On-going identification and resolution of differences between Bank and SAP
  • On-going responsibility for the reconciliation of current account and posting relevant bank journals
  • Prepare & post month end journals/accruals arising in relation to bank Balance Sheet accounts
  • Download and post monthly credit card charges 
  • Reconciliation on an on-going basis, the matching of the individual records from bank accounts to records recorded on the General Ledger
  • Download monthly Sales records recorded and upload them to ERP for use by the Business.
  • Process Bank Charges and journals across all relevant accounts as appropriate. 
  • Resolve queries from internal stakeholders and external banks.
  • Submit appropriate reconciliations and backup to the Balance Sheet Control Log in a timely manner for approval.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for all banking activities and reconciliations managed by the Banking Team.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all Internal Audit and external auditing queries.
  • Support and train other team members

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and excel skills as well as an excellent attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 Years' experience in a busy high volume reconciliations environment
  • Strong IT and ERP skills
  • Familiarity with third-party platforms would be advantageous - Elavon payment gateway, online banking portals.
  • IATI or Part - qualified accountant
  • Experience working in a large, organization & fast paced environment
