Two permanent Fund Accountant opportunities have become available with a global asset manager based in London. The Fund Accountants will join a dynamic team and be involved in launching UK funds.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fund accounting operations functions related to:

• Cash reconciliations and cash monitoring
• Portfolio reconciliations
• Investment of liquidities

Financial and regulatory reporting functions related to:

• Semi-annual and annual financial statements
• Audit process
• Stays abreast of regulatory developments via newsflashes, webinars, conferences and regular contacts with the fund industry

NAV oversight functions related to:

• Pricing and Fair Valuation of securities
• Fund performance validation through benchmarking
• Accounting for complex instruments and derivatives

Participates in cross departmental projects and team initiatives

Provides input to working group to establish project plan and processes based on defined business objectives

Assigns responsibilities within own team and ensures both timely and adequate deliverables to project group

Continuous Improvement– mindset to challenge the status quo and propose more efficient processes

Provides support and guidance to more junior team members

A couple of great opportunities have become available with a large, global asset manager based in London. They are looking to build out their fund accounting function and need two experienced Fund Accountants with open-ended UK funds and NAV oversight exposure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Understanding of the NAV accounting process In depth knowledge of derivative products Experience with Financial Statements production/review and relationship with auditors Strong numerical ability, high proficiency with Excel Strong written and spoken English. Other language is a plus Experience with UK funds preferred
