Job Description

The role covers a wide range of tasks and offers variety with month-end reporting as well as projects. It also provides great exposure to the operations of the whole business - ideal for someone transitioning from practice who wants to apply their existing skills, learn new ones and acquire a business acumen.

  • Accounting for intangibles and holding companies, and assist with month-end close for the whole group.
  • Preparation of monthly board reporting pack, including liaising with finance business partners and business personnel to collate relevant information.
  • Monthly and quarterly bank reporting packs including calculation of covenants.
  • Involvement in annual external audit, ensuring deadline for signing of financial statements is met.
  • Corporation tax for the group, including monthly transfer pricing and tax postings and liaising with external advisors on preparation of the corporation tax returns.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
  • Integrate new acquisition with our finance (NetSuite) & time recording systems
  • Assist with submitting backlog of applications
  • Finance Operations – ah hoc projects with AP, AR and Payroll Team
  • Corporate Reporting – ad hoc projects with audit & reporting team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Recently qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience of reporting under IFRS and consolidations with multiple currencies preferable.
  • Ability to multi-task, priorities when required and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail when undertaking data analysis.
  • Team player who demonstrates strong drive for results.
