Job Description
  • Financial supervision and control responsibility for a portfolio of client contracts in the Facility Management Ireland division 
  • Ensure application of all company financial policies and procedures including adherence with all corporate compliance requirements including SOX
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports and full balance sheet reconciliations for the division
  • Communication of divisional financial information, trends and key trading issues to the Senior Finance Accounting Manager, Financial Controller and divisional heads of operations
  • Key financial contact for the division, to support the operations team, to liaise with other support departments and to respond to client issues and requests
  • Management and control of divisional overhead costs to align with overall control of group expenditure. Assist with achievement of divisional targets / projection input (P&L, AR days, cash flow)
  • Contact point for internal audit reviews and external legal entity audit for the Irish Division. Ensure reconciliation of management accounts to statutory accounts
  • Contribute to the completion of the Annual Operating Plan & periodic reforecasts including collaboration with all stake holders
  • Ensure integrity and consistency of the platform is maintained across the group
  • Constant monitoring of systems and procedures; identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and efficiencies; lead change process as appropriate
  • Be involved with ad hoc projects as required by the Senior Finance Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equiv) with strong technical accounting skills
  • Minimum of 1-year post qualification experience
  • Proven experience in dealing effectively with multiple clients / projects
  • Excellent attention to detail & ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High levels of integrity and ethics
  • Self-Starter
  • Possess energy and positive attitude with a desire to drive constant improvement and change
  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Dealing with ambiguity and complexity
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – a naturally inquiring approach
