Job Description

Highlights of the role include:

• Consolidate the monthly group management accounts and month-end reporting packs
• Establish good relationship between finance and operations
• Understand financial needs of relevant department managers
• Provide financial training to non finance to help create a better understanding from a finance point of view
• Provide appropriate financial insight on month end results
• Point of contact for year end audit
• Management of the year-end audit files and statutory accounts
• Ensure financial compliance requirements are adhered to / deadlines met

Key skills:

• A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Current relevant experience working as a Financial Accountant. Experience at Group level or working for a PLC would be preferred but not essential
• Strong systems knowledge, especially with Excel inc pivot tables, V Lookups etc.
• An Accountant who enjoys financial controls and is technically strong would be very well suited to this role
• A good communicator, able to communicate with senior members of the finance and non-finance team
• Excellent written skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
