Job Description

Your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents. This is a Monday to Friday Day based role but the client can be flexible on start and finish times

  • Ensure electronic and paper based personnel files are maintained and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with performance reviews to ensure completion within the expected timescales and sharing best practice
  • Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and submitted to the outsourced payroll provider in time for the monthly payroll run and that employees are paid correctly
  • Manage all employee benefits such as Health Insurance, Death in Service, Pension, Childcare Vouchers and Cycle Scheme
  • Report monthly overtime and costs
  • Setup the monthly payments for payroll and update the bank template where necessary
  • Lead and coordinate HR administration for starters and leavers
  • Support with recruitment, set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence where required
  • Update the company organograms as required
  • Assist with a focus on job descriptions, training, organogram, work instructions
  • Manage the training budget and coordinate all training requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • CIPD qualification or currently undertaking studies
  • Ideally Degree or qualification in Human Resources or related field
  • Ideally have worked in a manufacturing environment although this is not essential
  • Proven HR experience
