Job Description
You will play a vital role in delivering these objectives. You will be responsible for optimizing the entire process where data should be readily available from our systems to allow compliance with tax reporting requirements. You will ensure the timely and accurate provision of information to our service providers in order to prepare our indirect tax filings in the most efficient way.
- Drive the creation of the Global Tax Operations team, including setting/implementing the strategy for the centralization of tax compliance globally.
- Oversee the tax processes for EMEA Controllership, including management of processes performed by external vendors ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust, and a quality service is provided.
- Be a strong people manager for a team of accountants, building their skills and enabling a high performing team, as well as fostering inclusion/belonging.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of tools, systems, and upstream processes in support of the tax reporting function and highlight opportunities for improvement and advocate process/systems improvements and automation.
- Represent International Controllership through effective communication with our key business partners including Entity Accountants and Country Controllers, Technical Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Financial Planning.
