Job Description

You will also be involved in all statutory reporting and compliance for this entity. We’re looking for a person who has a strong drive to take on challenges, work independently, and grow as a professional. 

• Preparation of local currency monthly accounts to strict reporting deadlines in accordance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies
• Provision of the monthly financial package for review with EMEA Reporting Manager including analytical review and commentary on variances
• Responsibility for detailed Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliations
• Accurate calculation and reporting of month-end accruals and prepayments/Reconciliation of intercompany activity
• Being involved in local statutory reports and periodic VAT returns for specific EMEA subsidiary
• Monthly cash flow forecasting
• Assistance in the implementation of appropriate internal controls and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with corporate policies
• Ad hoc project support as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Professional Accounting Qualification / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent degree
• 1-2 years of financial experience, especially in general ledger area a plus
• US technology company/startup experience and knowledge of NetSuite a nice to have
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly focused, organized and detail oriented
• Motivated, self-directed and proactive
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• English full working proficiency
