Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage workflow, communication and timelines on multiple, concurrent projects
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in both technical accounting and XBRL
Conduct training and support sessions for client teams who utilise our proprietary software solution
Provide guidance and technical consultation to clients on XBRL mapping and tagging of their financial disclosures using IFRS or ESEF taxonomies
Is flexible and willing to work days/ hours required to meet our clients’ or business need
Collaborates with other professional services teams to ensure success of the project
Other interesting and ad hoc assignments as required
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required, with desired major in Accounting
Multi lingual; fluency in French, German, Polish, Spanish or Swedish in addition to English an advantage
Certificates and Licenses
Professional Accountant or Auditor Certification preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven success in providing exceptional service to clients Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience; preferably in a financial reporting or auditing role Deep understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) accounting concepts Strong organizational, time management and project management skills Strong knowledge of accounting and financial disclosures across a breadth of industries Experience and aptitude with technical software applications; experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred Awareness of XBRL software for tagging and viewing financial information preferred, but not required Big 4 experience a plus, but not required Self-starter who is comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment Some limited client travel may be required
