Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include the following duties:

• Support various departments managers, through detailed analysis into costs associated to budgets
• Production of weekly financial & non-financial KPI’s including detailed analysis and commentary
• Support wider Finance team in accurately recording business area spend & analysing actual spend vs budget spend
• Support in the preparation of commentary & executive summary for budget meetings
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Business partnering to identify insights spend and work with stakeholders in achieving efficiencies and best value
• Assist in a variety of project work as per the business needs

Required skills & experiences:

• Actively studying mid to late stages CIMA/ACCA/ACA or Passed Finalist
• Strong technical and management accounting skills
• Potentially seeking a first or second move from practice into industry
• Excellent Excel skills
• Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers
