Job Description

To work as part of the divisional business support team performing business support duties including maintenance of resource data, contractor on-boarding, revenue recognition to the Business Support Team, Manager and Divisional Director. Providing project support to the divisional Project Office by administering project delivery processes and undertaking project administration for a range of projects as required by the business

  • Maintenance of central project records
  • Manage the end-to-end engagement of off-payroll workers
  • Application and governance (auditing) of the business operations aspects of the Management Systems (BMS/QMS/IMS)
  • Project management of simple customer engagements, including applying the inception and closure processes, raising invoices and purchase orders, processing expenses and timesheets, managing the contract and financial reporting
  • Supporting the measurement, analysis and reporting of business operational information, including timesheet data, utilization, finances, efficiency, compliance & RoI
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Business Management Team

You will typically be supporting the business support aspects of the business, as well as projects which develop complex, novel and often first-of-kind solutions for major international clients


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing your career in business support management. You will already have some experience of working in an operations, project administration or business management role.

You will have a basic understanding of the project management principles and it will be an advantage to have some knowledge of the engineering lifecycle.

You will have good problem solving and analytical skills, be a good communicator (written and verbal), have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with others, be self-motivated, able to use your initiative with a can-do attitude, be organized with good time management and the ability to rapidly switch between different tasks, work for multiple managers and priorities your workload.

You will be comfortable working both as part of a team and under your own initiative. You will take accountability for doing a good job and completing your tasks on time and to a high-standard. You will be able to remain calm, effective and succeed in a sometimes fast-paced and exacting environment.
