Job Description

As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.

  • Full P&L ownership of a functional area, department or business unit of modest size.
  • Provide support to Service Line Leaders and Operations team by preparing and presenting monthly financial forecast, reporting packs with astute commentary, analysis and identified actions
  • Support the development and preparation of the annual budget
  • Utilize and disseminate operational metrics to drive financial performance
  • Manages a departmental team around execution of functional activities and/or process improvements.
  • Strong capacity to communicate actions, implications of data and drive action.
  • Must be an excellent team player and provide leadership to team members.
  • Individual and team contributor, responsible for their own & others work within their functional area.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects as assigned
  • Lead and manage the team within the function
  • Provide effective management support through your management team to deliver a high performing culture and delivery
  • Carrying out all relevant line management responsibilities including performance reviews, goal setting, development plans and annual compensation processes within budget and agreed parameters
  • Leading and managing across the organization by empowering and coaching them to deliver their key objectives.
  • Drive a clear talent management strategy to achieve successor ready leadership within the group.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A minimum of 3+ years of financial business partnering or financial analysis experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Qualified Accountant - We are open to both practice and industry trained Accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Prior people management skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to interact with and influence a variety of personnel across the organization including senior management groups
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage projects
  • Demonstrate ability in being able to switch between micro and macro view
  • Ability to truly learn and understand the business models and operating structures within the service line
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office package
  • Very strong focus on accuracy and quality of information provided; attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Analytically minded, with proven ability to solve problems
