Job Description
  • Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities for US GAAP
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset ledger
  • Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high quality compliance with US GAAP
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
  • Complete SOX controls in line with control matrix
  • Oversight of outsourced business partner
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits.
  • Perform analytics to ensure accuracy of financial information
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce costs
  • Provide input on an ad hoc basis for key stakeholders
  • Provide input and co-ordinate project

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Accounting Qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • 3-5 years relevant experience – preferably with Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation background
  • SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable
  • Fixed Asset accounting knowledge preferable
  • Experience in preparation of Financial Statements preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Able to work alone to understand and summarize financial data into high quality, accurate and usable summaries
  • Strong computer skills especially MS Office
