Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the team with various, critical administrative functions.

  • Section 50 applications
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor road works
  • Open and close notices and ensure all aspects of the Traffic Management Act are met
  • Monitor Electronic Transfer of Notices systems for Fixed Penalty Notices, Section 74 charges and failed inspections
  • Liaise with local authorities and third parties
  • Request quotes from contractors
  • Raise purchase orders from quotes or standard rates
  • Respond to Streetworks enquiries from members of the public
  • Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health Safety & Quality at all times
  • Work within UKPS Policies and Procedures.
  • Any other duties as may be required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous administration experience desirable
  • No prior Streetworks experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
  • Good communicator with high levels of attention to detail and high levels of integrity
  • Good customer service skills
  • IT Literate (including Microsoft Office suite of applications)
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task
