Job Description

You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvements with a particular focus on processes, reporting and insights. The role will also support the revenue stream for non-mobile revenues and the growth of lifestyle products.

• Reviewing existing Revenue processes and identifying areas for automation and/or improvements. Suggesting best practice and creative thinking to allow most efficient ways of working 
• Working cross functionally with Finance Improvement and Continuous Improvements teams. Sitting on dedicated taskforces to understand the nature of as is process and proposals for change
• Support the commencement of a new Business Intelligence reporting interface direct from Oracle (ERP system) to Cognos which will include testing, understanding of the data and innovative dashboard design. 
• Working closely with another analyst on the retail revenue team to support current as is month end processes across a number of different revenue lines.
• Support the onboarding of new products and revenue streams into the Retail revenue team to become part of a BAU role. 
• Identifying areas of revenue loss or trends requiring attention and further investigation
• Working closely with a Revenue project analyst to allow a seamless handover of test results for release into a production environment, understanding of end-to-end processes and impact of changes to current processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience of reporting and analysis
• Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to proactively suggest solutions or alternative approaches where needed 
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as getting involved with teams
• Ability to work cross functionally 
• Good understanding of the finance systems and integration with the billing system 
• Good understanding of Cognos Analytics or similar BI tools
• Experience of working in/with a mobile telecommunications network operator
