Job Description
You will be responsible for providing efficient, responsive and high quality technical administration assistant to the Environment and Community Services Department, assisting in routine customer service tasks for this area.
- You will be under the supervision of the Technical Support Team Leader and will assist in the delivery of high quality technical administration assistance to the Environment & Community Services Department and its customers.
- In the role you will provide a front line administrative service giving an initial response to customers which may include telephone and office callers. This will involve answering general enquiries, the collation of information in relation to applications, licenses and service requests, advising customers where their information is incomplete.
- Duties will include indexing and filing documents into databases, electronic mail distribution and assist other members of staff with any duties relevant to the service.
- You will be preparing documents and other materials to a good standard following a clear brief and using established formats and software and provide general administrative support for the service e.g. photocopying, filing, ordering and other routine tasks.
- Collecting information and maintain records, you will use established formats, software and procedures.
