Job Description

 

  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the General Ledger each period ensuring all relevant journals are booked and are appropriately approved
  • Responsible for ensuring timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts which includes oversight of reconciliations carried out by other staff
  • Ensuring the periodic Balance Sheet and Cash flow are accurate and produced in a timely manner each period and for forecast and budget.
  • Assisting with continuous improvements in processes and tasks across GL &Revenue
  • Operations by way of developing new standard operating procedures reflecting modern and streamlined processes, and training staff to ensure compliance with these processes and procedures
  • Reviewing Central overhead costs against budget and preparing associated budgets
  • Development of the control & reconciliation process for on bus revenue and oversight of local driver shorts and overs balances.
  • Ensuring driver shorts and overs balances are accurate and reviewed and reported on each period
  • Credit control reporting and management of aged debts
  • Managing SAP developments related to new processes.
  • Maintenance of routes in SAP and SAP BI

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified Accountant
  • SAP/SAP BI Knowledge very desirable
  • SAP fixed assets Module
  • Balance Sheet reconciliation experience essential
  • Multinational or PLC experience desirable
  • Revenue Control (Receivables) experience desirable
  • Fixed assets experience desirable
  • IFRS literate
  • Highly proficient with Balance
  • Sheet and Cash flow reporting
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Applications
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Core Payroll
