The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years industry experience, with a main contractor background. A degree level qualification is preferred but not essential. You will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from initial feasibility and scoping, through to final account and defects periods.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Attending scoping / survey meetings
Liaison with the Client’s PQS/ Cost Manager
Liaison with internal teams
Subcontractor enquiries and tender analysis
Cost control
Providing support to delivery teams and Assistant/Senior Quantity Surveyors
Managing a number of projects at any one time
Commercial reporting
Making valuations
Preparing and submitting final accounts
Arranging payments to suppliers and contractors
Providing advice and forecasts about costs
Client liaison
Final accounting
