Job Description
- Ensure divisional and group reporting requirements are completed within required deadlines and to a high standard, including supporting analysis
- Track the completion of project and development costs into fixed asset accounts ensuring the group capitalization policy has been applied accurately.
- Review depreciation for all fixed assets
- Work closely with the development and operations team to assess when assets should be disposed
- Proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities, including recommendations for future actions
- Acting as business partner for departmental budget holders
- Bi-annual impairment assessment of group asset and investment portfolio
- Preparing and presenting performance summaries, including capex spend analysis, budget comparison etc, for monthly Business Review Meeting with Senior Management
- Manage audit queries and assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Supervision of our outsourced processing team in India to ensure accurate information is achieved
- Ongoing process improvement following the implementation of a new ERP system
- Act as a professional accounting focal point within the Company
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Top 10 trained, qualified accountant with a recognized accounting body
- Newly qualified to 2 years PQE
- Experience working with an outsource provider preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience in a high-volume retail environment preferred
- High proficiency in all Microsoft Office software also essential (Excel, PPT).
