Job Description
  • Processing of Import/Export Customs declarations via the DMS.
  • Responsible for all general enquiries from internal & external stakeholders relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates, and any other documentation requirements.
  • Maintains current technical knowledge with any changes in regulations, laws, and customs procedures.
  • Perform Customs clearance checks.
  • Ensure the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance.
  • Maintain records in line with requirements for HMRC and support with any internal audits.
  • Manage the reporting and monitoring of customs data and internal systems for KPI’s.
  • General administration duties as and when required.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace on multiple tasks.
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to identify new priorities and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Proven ability in producing accurate work with attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal, with the ability to structure technical information to ensure stakeholders understand the key message/s.
  • Proven ability of delivering excellent customer service.
