Job Description

You will lead multiple aspects of general ledger accounting, the monthly close process and be a key contributor on various projects and initiatives.

  • Reconcile a variety of general ledger accounts according to Corporate Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in month end close activities by ensuring transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
  • Assist in the documentation and compliance testing related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
  • Drive process improvements and lead exciting accounting transformation projects to achieve scalability, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Local GAAP Accounting on a monthly cycle.
  • Prepare Financial Statements for the Statutory Audit Cycle.
  • Manage year-end audit and schedule requests of external auditors.
  • Work with the Statutory Auditors to close out the Audit in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare VAT & other compliance returns on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
  • Work cross functionally & build relationships with customer & support groups.
  • Ad Hoc projects and analyses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified Accountant preferred (ACA/ACCA/CPA), or European equivalent.
  • Fluent French/Italian speaker.
  • Proven accounting experience required.
  • Positive demeanor, collaborative, and team oriented. Comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business evolves.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about continuous improvements.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential. Preferred skills: Power-point, SAP, Power BI, Blackline.
  • Excellent communication skills.
