As a Purchasing and Product Management Assistant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Communicating daily with suppliers, building and maintaining robust relationships
*Maintaining a database, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate
*Oversee all raw materials coming on to site, liaising with internal departments such as transport, operations and finance to ensure this is done smoothly
*Ensure suppliers compliance information is up to date and recorded accurately
*Raise purchase orders and complete other admin related purchasing tasks
*Promote the value of and maintain contracts with suppliers for the supply of raw materials
*Work with the Raw Materials Purchasing Manager to identify and bring on new suppliers
*Analyse data and look at market trends to influence pricing and identify gaps in the market
*Support the marketing strategy by offering insight and ideas on social media, web site, branding and PR, working alongside their outsourced marketing team
