Job Description

You will be responsible for partnering with key operational & finance personnel, analyzing manufacturing cost information, executing cost accounting month end close activities, and preparing management reports for an entire business or manufacturing area within a business

• Execute critical month-end close assignments, such as recording timely cost accounting transactions; preparing supporting schedules and account reconciliations; and ensuring reserves adequately reflected in the period
• Prepare management reports focused on production, inventory, variance analyses, and plant operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely Intercompany and third-party billings for certain site services performed
• Manage and monitor cost data, including master data, for accuracy and proper linkage to management reporting, legal entity analysis and corporate reporting requirements
• Ensure accurate financial reporting
• Provide local input requirements into global work process designs and ensure work processes are documented and kept up to date
• Perform SOX-related requirements timely.
• Participate in and/or lead special (ad hoc) projects, as needed, including supporting the implementation of S/4

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with SAP is a distinct advantage
• Previous Cost Accounting experience essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage various levels of management
• Accountancy qualification preferred -CIMA,ACA,ACCA,CP
• Strong analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills
• Manufacturing/GBS experience desirable
