Job Description

The Company Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely production on monthly management accounts and monthly payroll. This is a brand-new role to the business giving the successful individual an opportunity to make the role their own.

You will be working with a small team, reporting to the senior management team. Key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accountants
• Cashflow forecasting
• Monthly VAT Returns
• Payroll for circa 25 employees
• Purchase and sales ledger postings
• Credit control

To be considered for this Company Accountant role, you will need the following:

• AAT Level 4 /CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent experience
• Ability to set their own deadlines and work without supervision
• Strong systems knowledge; previous use of Sage or Xero would be advantageous

Acting as the main point of finance for the business, the successful individual will be confident working autonomously and communicating with senior members of the team and external accountants on occasion.
