Job Description

This role requires good judgment and strong initiative. You need to have the ability to effectively priorities and manage a diversified workload, often to strict deadlines. You should have strong interpersonal skills, a professional approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate with senior management and executive officers.

  • Preparation of timely and accurate consolidated management accounts (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) for the Chief Financial Officer and senior management on a monthly basis.
  • Analysis of consolidated management accounts and variance reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements and reports for annual, quarterly, and periodic SEC filing requirements.
  • Liaison with external auditors in relation to annual reports audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely Annual Reports (including consolidated financial statements and Directors’ report) in compliance with Irish statutory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate SOX process and control documentation, ensuring the proper design and execution of internal controls.
  • Completion of statistical reports for external bodies.
  • Works on special assignments and ad-hoc reporting as the need arises

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • At least 1-year post-qualification experience, ideally with external reporting exposure in a large plc.
  • Suitable candidates will have ‘Big 4’ public accounting/audit exposure on large multinational public clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive professional with excellent problem-solving capabilities, and detail-oriented.
  • SAP and/or consolidation system experience is desirable.
