Job Description
You will have responsibility for the end-to-end statutory reporting processes for specific companies. The statutory accounting function includes preparation of statutory financial statements and related tax returns, management of statutory audits and annual compliance. The core responsibilities will also include support in the intercompany, transfer pricing, corporation tax, deferred tax, investment & equity accounting processes for US GAAP accounting and consolidation. You will have to manage relationships with internal Nuance teams and external service providers to ensure deadlines are met. There will be a hybrid working model when the office is fully reopened.
- Prepare the annual statutory financial statements and support the preparation of the tax returns for assigned legal entities.
- Responsible for the annual statutory financial statement audit for entities across multiple jurisdictions, working with external auditors and internal colleagues to produce the statutory financial statements in a timely and accurate manner for filing within local deadlines.
- Support and coordinate responses for tax audits as required.
- Support the US GAAP reporting month end process across a range of functions to provide management with accurate, reliable and timely financial information.
- Maintain and provide management with accurate and timely cash tax forecast payables.
- Manage and monitor the timeliness of intercompany and corporation tax payments and receipts.
- Maintain and build key relationships with the internal teams and external professional service providers.
- Proactively seek areas to improve both the statutory and US GAAP reporting processes.
- Support with internal projects and initiatives as required.
