Job Description

You will receive excellent training and support from our training manager and the wider team.

  • Consistently delivering a high-quality customer service experience to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Ensuring patient expectations are met in a timely and efficient way
  • Effectively managing and resolving queries
  • Identifying and challenging areas for improvement

Working Hours

  • Varied 7.5 hour shifts on Rota system between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday.
  • Primarily 8:45am – 5pm with 45 minute lunch break
  • Average of 2 shifts per month - 8:00am - 4:15pm (assigned via monthly Rota)
  • Average of 2 shifts per month - 11:45am - 8:00pm (assigned via monthly Rota)
  • Occasional Saturday morning working - 9am - 1pm (roughly one in every 8-12 weeks).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You will ideally have a genuine passion for customer service with a naturally excellent telephone manner and be a strong team player.
  • Previous experience in customer service is desirable but not essential
  • You must be comfortable working on your own initiative, but also know when to escalate issues.
  • You’ll need excellent communication skills, to interact effectively with potentially vulnerable patients as well as health care professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • You must have excellent time keeping & organizational skills
  • You can demonstrate a caring and empathic nature
  • You can deliver results under pressure
  • You’ll need to be flexible and willing to adapt where necessary, to help the team and for your own personal development.
