Job Description

You will manage a team of inside sales account managers who are responsible for overseeing and selling products, including personal computers, electronics and accessories, mobility products, enterprise solutions, services and packaged software. You will also represent, communicate, and execute on specific sales strategies. You will lead a team of sales account managers who look after customers in the Irish Public Sector.

Work closely with Director of Public business, to help keep our incumbent customers, while also looking to acquire net business across all lines of business. You have knowledge of public sector frameworks and the tendering process which helps our customers. You will have the opportunity to work on solutions that help drive human progress. In verticals like Education and Health you will get to see difference our solutions can make in the delivery of those services.

  • Manage a team or multiple teams of sales representatives,
  • Train and develop senior sales representatives and junior sales managers
  • Set priorities for the Inside Sales team and keep team focused on the important tasks of vertical and/or business
  • Partner with Marketing to increase segment sales growth and expand market share
  • Carry a high revenue responsibility in a complex segment/vertical

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the Irish public sector and passion for how future technology advancements can best support our customers.
  • Ability to communicate strategic direction of Dell’s product and service offerings to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and executive presence.
  • Strategic thinking with strong ability to build sales forecasts.
  • Strong ability to set priorities and keep team focused on the important tasks to achieve results.
