Job Description

This is an opportunity for an established leader in the field of audit, regulatory compliance, and technology to play a key role in the evolution of a software solution for audit automation. Our client seeks a proven leader in the field of audit to help shape product development and customer success through the application of their deep expertise in financial audit, regulatory compliance (SOX / GDPR), and consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Use previous Big4 audit and professional services experience, to help shape the audit automation product strategy
  • Lead the development of go-to-market strategy that aligns with the agenda of C-suite clients
  • Acting as the ‘Audit SME’ to help engage senior stakeholders to drive credibility, support customer success and build sales momentum
  • Engaging customers with compelling use cases to help align needs to the capability of the solution
  • Lead the development of an audit automation capability, driving customer success through implementation and the application of audit best practice
  • Help to position the solution through appropriate engagement at an industry, regulatory and partnership level.
  • Seeking to expand new channels to market whilst ensuring that the sales organisation is armed with the best / most appropriate messages and trends and regulatory issues effecting the audit services landscape

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: £100k - £125k

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A proven background leading audit practice within an advisory / consulting major (Big4) Enhanced appreciation for the audit and regulatory compliance (SOX / GDPR) landscape Developed appreciation for the application of technology solutions in an audit environment with a specific view to increasing assurance, lowering risk, and reducing the burden of audit activities A rich network of industry contacts and an established reputation for thought leadership within the audit and compliance domain Cross sector experience (including Financial Services, Tech & Media, Education, Manufacturing, Retail, Professional & Business Services) Leadership level consulting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills Knowledge / experience with of a range of ERP systems such as MS Dynamics, Workday, Oracle, or SAP A suitable background education supporting career success in audit, ideally including a professional finance / accounting qualification (SIMA / ACCA) and Auditor Certification Previous experience of ISO compliance
