Job Description

You will focus on providing high-quality customer service to our truck and trailer businesses by serving as the first point of contact for our customers and effectively managing the fleet operations and administration at the branch.

Your main duties will include:

  • Ensure the fleet is prepared to the highest standards
  • Ensure 'check-in' and 'check-out' inspections are conducted – note any damage and obtain recharge authorisation
  • Manage MOT test schedules and planned maintenance programmes
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections
  • Complete accurate customer charge invoices
  • Manage the branch driver resource, ensuring compliance with legislative and Company formalities
  • Ensure that rental agreements are completed correctly and assisting with invoicing customers
  • Co-ordinate the delivery and collection of vehicles to and from customers, other branches, and repair agents

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Hold a full and valid UK driving licence
  • Be able to work towards strict deadlines and targets
  • Demonstrate good communication, both written and verbal
  • Be computer literate including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in a customer service environment/role
