-Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including new project setups, maintenance of existing project and projects closures
-Providing accurate and consistent financial information to all Project Managers on a weekly basis and identifying opportunities to improve processes
-Monthly revenue reconciliation, reporting and project reviews with Project Managers
-Assist in preparation of month end accounts, management information and analysis for monthly finance and consulting reports, ensuring all financial information is accurate and consistent
-Working with key stakeholders to understand financial performance and to prepare forecasts
-Improving the impact, and understanding of operational and financial reporting on business performance
-Support the annual budgeting process
This is a busy role within a fast moving, commercial environment, and therefore requires candidates to have the following:
-A professional Accountancy Qualification with evidence of up-to-date knowledge and relevant management accounting experience
-Applied experience in a commercial environment, with ideally detailed knowledge of project revenue recognition
-Financial and commercial acumen when undertaking financial reviews and assessments
-Experience of using finance software and office IT systems and competent with Excel
Team player with positive “can-do” and proactive attitude, solution orientated, and goal driven
-Confident in challenging existing processes
-Track record of personal development within their accounting career and a desire to continue to develop
