Job Description
  • Recommend and delivers customer solutions by applying specialist knowledge of the whole portfolio. Strong focus, so experience in this area would be hugely beneficial.
  • Own and manage a single (or more) account or works as part of a large team on customer opportunities, applying understanding of the customer’s business strategy.
  • Set and monitor strategic and financial targets for accounts, understanding customers’ needs and applying understanding to guide interactions and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with specialists to proactively seek opportunities to extend current products, upsell to existing clients, develop offers and deploy the account plan.
  • Accountable for developing successful, sustainable and profitable long term relationship with customers, to include responsibility for escalation management to appropriate level
  • Accountable for Customer satisfaction improvements increasing Promoter score within the account.
  • Define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You create and close sales opportunities through research, analysis and planning.
  • You identify and articulate the value of our products, services and solutions to the customer.
  • You put yourself in our customers' shoes and identify their explicit and implied needs by listening actively.
  • You help to analyse and evaluate customer data and ask appropriate questions to understand their requirements.
  • You offer expert advice and recommendations in your areas of subject expertise.
  • Experience and success in direct sales, generating growth and minimising churn in IT/Telecommunications or a business to business corporate market place.
  • Aligned project plans and objectives with strategy and values.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the customer/prospect organisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding enabling achievement of profitable growth and retention results.
  • Ability to articulate winning account plans and translate into tangible sales activities, successfully engaging virtual teams.
  • Worked with people from other business locations or functions.
